Paws Farm Nature Center - Volunteering

Volunteers do a number of different things from greeting people at the front desk, helping with classes, arts and crafts, cleaning activity rooms and assisting staff with their various duties. Some people choose to come one day per week, others choose to come on an as needed basis. Whichever you prefer, please stop by and fill out a volunteer information sheet and become a part of our Paws family.

We are also interested in having people with special skills such as wood carving, painting, repair or other specialized expertise

Important volunteer notes:

1. Our volunteers do not work directly with the animals due to insurance restrictions.
2. You must be 16 or older to volunteer unsupervised. If you are under the age of 16, you must have a parent stay with you while you are at Paws Farm.
3. Jeans and shorts are not allowed. You must wear slacks, khakis or other non-jean pants with a nice shirt.

Paws began as a volunteer, non-profit organization and we proudly carry on that tradition. Volunteers have been an integral part of the Paws story as it evolved from a dilapidated farmhouse bound for destruction to an interactive, 9 acre, historic and education facility for children. We hope that you will consider Paws Farm one of your primary volunteer options.
